Carson Sounds

This is adorable. My nephew would make the cutest sound when he was asleep. The other is his heartbeat on the monitor before he was born.

Daniel's Subaru Brat

Daniel has been working on the Subaru for awhile. It started out yellow, with rust and dirt everywhere, and torn up seats. Now its much improved as you can see.

It's A Boy!!!

Just dropping a quick note while I'm still in Oklahoma. My nephew, Carson James Johnson, was born this morning at 10:01. He is 8lbs 5oz and 20 inches long. He is definitely a redhead and we think he'll have blue eyes, cause right now they are really dark blue. Pictures will follow soon. Yeah!!!! I'm an aunt!!!!

Blessings from God

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3: 5,6

The Lord has provided me a full-time job at the church. I had been searching for awhile for full-time work opportunities. Nothing would come through, but I just kept hold of the Lord's promise of providing for us. One day, a friend of the family spoke to the assistant director of the DLC, who is also in choir with me. They were in Sunday School together and the assistant director was asking for prayer for new employees. Our friend spoke up and said that I have been looking for a full-time job. So she came to me before choir on a Wednesday night and asked me if I was interested. Well, of course I said yes! I applied the next day and after two days of interviews I was hired. I started work on July 21st as a floater. When school starts, August 18th, I will be in the 9-12 month-old classroom as. I kept looking and wondering where I was going to be for so long, but God knew what He was doing. I am so very thankful for the Lord's amazing blessings. He knows what we need and His plan is perfect. Trusting that always, I rest in His arms. All praise and honor to Him.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

Whoa, baby!!!

Gail at 37 weeks on July 25th.

July 19th, we went to a friend's wedding in Oklahoma. Gail, now 36 weeks along, was miserable in the heat, but she handled it pretty well. It was beautiful. A young girl there had a crush on Daniel. It was hilarious how she would react to his obnoxious behavior. She would point at him with one hand, have her other hand on her hip and a look on her face that said, "Boy, you are just askin' for trouble." I couldn't help but laugh. After the wedding all the kids ran around and threw flower petals up in the air. It was a fun day.
